A Celebration of Renewal: Nowruz with Handcrafted Elegance
Nowruz, the Persian New Year, is a time of renewal, beauty, and tradition. The Haft-Seen table, a cherished part of the celebration, is carefully curated with symbolic elements representing prosperity, health, and abundance. This year, I infused the spirit of Nowruz with handcrafted egg and apple ornaments—each piece stitched, shaped, and painted with intention.

OUR PROCESS
From Creation to Celebration: The Process
Every ornament begins as an idea, inspired by the elegance of Fabergé and the symbolism of Nowruz. The process unfolds in a careful sequence, each step adding to the charm and refinement of the final piece:
1. Shaping the Forms – The egg and apple take shape with precise stitching, bringing texture and depth to each ornament.
2. Needlework Detailing – Using fine needles, I refine the seams, ensuring the contours hold their elegant silhouette.
3. Miniature Paint Can Storage – A nod to old-world craftsmanship, I store each piece in a mini paint can, protecting its delicate artistry until it finds its place on the Nowruz table.
4. Fabergé-Inspired Embellishments – Influenced by the intricate beauty of Fabergé eggs, I add subtle accents—hand-wired beads, silk overlays, and gilded touches—transforming each piece into a keepsake.
Beyond Nowruz: Timeless Home Decor
While these ornaments grace the Haft-Seen table during Nowruz, their beauty extends far beyond the holiday. Their versatility allows them to transition seamlessly into home décor:
• As Elegant Ornaments – Hang them as year-round decorative pieces, bringing a refined touch to bookshelves or display cabinets.
• As Centerpieces – Place them in a decorative bowl to create an effortless, seasonally inspired vignette.
• As Thoughtful Gifts – A symbol of renewal and prosperity, these ornaments make meaningful gifts beyond Nowruz, celebrating new beginnings in any season.

Welcoming a New Year with Intention
Nowruz is a celebration of light, beauty, and fresh beginnings. Through these handcrafted pieces, I invite you to embrace the essence of renewal—not just for the holiday, but as a lasting touch of elegance in everyday life.
Warmly,
k.
